Baby Lindsley’s 1st cousin, Porter Ike Bursell, was brought into the world yesterday. Tara was induced at 6:30am and at about 6:15pm he came out screaming and crying. As the family anxiously waited in the hall, Devery (Tara’s daughter) called the plays. With her ear pressed against the door she calls out, “She Pushing!” she crouches back down against the door “I hear it… Come here I hear him crying”. We all run over, filled with excitement… press our ears against the door and all you can hear are whales coming from wee little Porter.
Our eyes filled with tears as we all embrace. A few minutes later we are invited in to meet Mr. Porter for the first time. Now our eyes are not just filled with tears, they are gushing like the mighty Willamette. I am so excited to watch Porter grow up with Baby Lindsley.
